More often than not, we will be faced with a seemingly gigantic obstacle at least once in our lifetime. Be it in our workplace, at school, in relationships and sometimes country of residence.
The feeling of dissatisfaction can also be seen as an obstacle. When a majority of the people feel oppressed or dissatisfied by their leader, it is seen as a hurdle by the people.
Using Nelson Mandela’s journey as an example, he started a fight that looked to every sane person as impossible. People would have probably said he was being too ambitious or simply crazy.
It took him several years, but he won the battle against apartheid and racism and even went on to become south Africa’s first black president. This journey shaped his country to what we know today .
Now imagine he gave up at the beginning and agreed with others to think what he wanted was impossible? We would never know it can be done!
As a people, it is important we fight the feelings of oppression and dissatisfaction, despite how daunting it may seem. It is always better to face every obstacle head on instead of being lackluster about it.
No matter the obstacle, be resilient.
No matter the distraction, stay Focused!
No matter the storm, be Still!
It will always seem impossible until it’s done!
