Parenting Golden Rule.

As parents, providing the basic needs of humanity for your children, which includes; food, shelter, and clothes is a great achievement.
In furtherance, providing for their academic needs, and other “moderate” numerous demands, is noble. If you do all these, or more your child/children is (are) are privileged.

Nonetheless, we must constantly teach our children gratitude and its expressions.
When you have provided something for your child, either food, toys, tuitions fees, etc they must show gratitude.
Is important to provide, but they must know these things doesn’t come so easily. It takes sacrifice, selflessness, commitment, hard work etc, to meet their needs.

I taught my children that in giving and in receiving, these acts must be done cheerfully.
Teach them to say thank you. And not just saying it, but to do it cheerfully. Always wearing a simple.😊
Sometimes I give my children items that are so little and I standby to watch their expressions, they might even be faking smile, but we are heading somewhere. It’s a deliberate act.

Gratitude is a core value everyone should imbibe. If you have children around you begin early to teach them this value.

Did you know there is a golden way to teach your child/children gratitude?

Another way I try to inculcate this core value to my children is through Journaling.
At night they get their journals and I ask them to write down everything they are grateful for, for that day.
You will here my children say things like,
I am grateful for the food I ate.
I am grateful for the water I drank
I am grateful for the siesta I had
I am grateful for the book I read
I am grateful for taking a ride with Dad.
I am grateful for going to school.
I am grateful for my teacher.

Journaling has a way of making children contented and grateful. Teach them to be grateful for everything.👌

Imagine how beautiful our world will be if we consciously teach our children desirable values and uphold them so firmly.

One of my mission is to teach and impart morals that entrench the right Values.
I hope this helps a parent out there.❤️❤️
