In a significant move to deepen the impact of values reorientation and national consciousness among Nigerian youths, Helpsphere Foundation (HSF) has secured a strategic collaboration with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) for the implementation of its flagship initiative, the Values for Daily Living (VDL) project.
This groundbreaking partnership was officially confirmed following a successful courtesy visit by HSF to the NOA Enugu State Directorate, where the delegation was warmly received by the State Director, Mrs Clara Nwachukwu. The visit was led by the Global President of Helpsphere Foundation, Mrs. Sandra Ani, alongside senior officials of the organization.
The VDL Project is a nationwide youth-focused campaign designed to promote moral responsibility, civic engagement, and national unity through schools, communities, the media and other online platforms. By instilling daily reflections and responsible actions based on shared values, VDL seeks to shape a new generation of ethical and patriotic citizens for Nigeria.
During the visit, Mrs. Ani commended the leadership of Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency, for the agency’s unwavering commitment to promoting national values, peacebuilding, and responsible citizenship.
“We deeply appreciate the tireless work of NOA under the leadership of Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu. His vision aligns strongly with our mission to awaken moral consciousness in our society. This collaboration is a step toward a stronger, more values-driven Nigeria,” she noted.
The NOA Enugu State Director, Mrs Nwachukwu extending the Director General’s compliments, praised the VDL initiative and assured Helpsphere Foundation of the Agency’s full support, emphasizing that such collaborations are vital in expanding NOA’s reach and impact, especially among young people reiterating that the Agency’s widespread coverage across the 774 LGAs in Nigeria is veritable for the success of the project.
With this endorsement and partnership, the VDL Project is set to begin implementation in Enugu State, with a broader national rollout plan already in motion. Helpsphere Foundation is working closely with schools, community leaders, and other development partners to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the project.
This partnership underscores Helpsphere Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Federal Government’s value reorientation agenda and providing platforms for young Nigerians to become value ambassadors within their communities.
